Last Saturday I stopped at Jo-Anne Fabrics and bought into their 99 cent pattern sale. I've never really made anything I could wear, (except that tea-towel-beach-cover-up in 4H) so I wanted to start with something easy. I'm going to make the view that's on the very bottom of the pattern.

YES! The 99-cent pattern load up is the best!!! I have tons of great patterns from JoAnn's sales...of course I use about 1% of them. Good luck on the shirt! Cute curtains & pillows! Doesn't that feel great? I think those projects are instant gratification, new curtains are so quick and they change the whole room. I have a super-snappy way to make fast valence curtains, maybe you did it this way I can't tell, but remind me to show you next time I see ya.
