This will be a quick post. We're heading out to a friend's birthday celebration at Buca tonight. I haven't been there in forever, so I'm thinking of a dinner made of mashed potatoes and chianti. Yum.

Here's our little tree this year. I love it. I can smell it when I walk in the door. We have so many sweet decorations for it that friends and family have given us, and it just makes me smile.

Here's a project that I started a little while back. Willy Nelson was awfully important throughout my Nebraska youth. This is my linoleum tribute to him, and one of my first tries at printing with oil-based inks.

I love it, too, Julie, and now I want to see what you can do with Frida!

Crap, girl, but Willie Nelson just cracks me open when I hear that voice.

He was on "American Roots" on NPR tonight, and I 'bout had to stop folding laundry.

But I was in the middle of a very involved pleat, so I carried on.
